The Master of Engineering in Applied Computational Mechanics is a joint venture by the Bavarian Hochschule Landshut and Hochschule Ingolstadt (Universities of Applied Sciences). It is organized together with CADFEM GmbH. In cooperation with the universities, the company is responsible for organizing and marketing the master as well as recruiting students. The curriculum is focused on the needs of industry, set to high international standards.

Study Procedure
In conformity with the changes in German universities under the influence of the Bologna process, the curriculum is organized in modules, matched with an internationally approved credit point system (ECTS) and will lead to a master's degree awarded by the Landshut and Ingolstadt universities. The Universities of Applied Sciences are responsible for academic issues, including quality management. With strong focus on scientifically based applications, the curriculum offers an interdisciplinary approach to CAE topics, and also takes management issues and software skills into consideration. A variety of optional subjects, taught on request, deal with the topical issues of Computer Aided Engineering.
The course will always begin in September and runs for two years parallel to the job, including a time of six months for writing a master thesis. Beside all technical aspects management skills are covered in the course, which prepares the students for possible future leading positions
The Master of Engineering in Applied Computational Mechanics is an On-the-job course. The study in Applied Computational Mechanics is a high-quality program. It supplies its participants with CAE knowledge and is offered as a part-time course that may be attended to while working.
Students are kept up-to-date with the latest developments in CAE and are enabled to keep the pace with the demands of lifelong learning. Complemented with soft skills just as management issues and presentation techniques the master course provides its graduates with the necessary means to advance their career.
